Relationship between visuals and lyrics:
There isn't really a relationship between the visuals and the lyrics, because it is more of a performance music video.
Genre Characteristics:
I suppose there kind of are genre characteristics again with the clothes the artists wear, but like another hip hop/rap video i analysed this one is also a performance video with what is made out to be a party with some kind of audience. This may be a bit of a counter-type for videos of the hip hop/rap genre. Or it may be a new trend for artists.
Performance Style:
There is a lot of shot variation in this video and good video effects used and it looks like a genuine performance which creates verisimilitude. Because its just them rapping its mainly a MCU used.
